What To Expect From Tongkat Ali

How Much Tongkat Ali To Take

Before you start to take Tongkat Ali, you should decide the results you want.

Do you want more motivation, greater energy and better sex?

Do you want all of these plus a stronger, leaner body?

Maybe you just want to feel like the younger you?

Tongkat Ali can help you reach all of these goals but remember it is a supplement.

No supplement can replace a nutritious diet, regular exercise, and deep sleep.

You should master these things first.

Now let’s get to the root of the matter...

Most Potent Tongkat Ali Roots

Tongkat Ali is recommended in different amounts for different reasons.

We think most suggested dosages are too low. Sure, some people may feel a 50-100mg dosage, but most people will never experience any real changes.

Science agrees:

Most of the legit clinical studies that support the positive effects of Tongkat Ali use at least 300mg/day. They actually use a high-quality tongkat ali root extract (Eurycoma longifolia jack) but we'll get into the research a little bit later.

For now, to keep it simple, a general rule for Tongkat Ali:

300-600 milligrams each day is effective for most people.

Up to 1200 milligrams (and more) each day is common among athletes and bodybuilders.

However, even though taking more Tongkat Ali can make bigger changes in your body - and your bedroom - a little bit of Tongkat Ali can do the trick too.

Quality makes the biggest difference.

Follow these steps...

1. Choose the best.

Health is the most important thing in life. Your health affects everything - your happiness, your money, and your relationships. Spend a little more on your health and enjoy your future.

+ Choose a high-quality, standardized root extract packed with eurycomanone...

2. Start slow.

Most people are shocked by high quality Tongkat Ali. It gives you a great feeling but can be a little too strong if you take too much at first. Some people can get an upset stomach or feel too restless when they take too much.

+ Start with 300mg of Tongkat Ali each day for the first week.

3. Take it early.

Tongkat Ali creates a ton of energy. If you take it after dinner, you may feel too wired - and too horny - to sleep. This usually stops as your body builds a tolerance and rhythm.

+ Take Tongkat Ali before noon to make it easier to fall asleep at bedtime.

    4. Eat with food.

Tongkat Ali may cause an upset stomach at first. You can take it with a meal to avoid this. However, stomach acid can minimize its potency, so a lighter meal can be better.

+ Eat with a light meal or protein shake at first, but a big glass of water is best.

    5. Be consistent.

Consistency leads to success. Research shows that Tongkat Ali can be more effective when it is taken regularly over a long period of time.

+ Be steady and stick to a schedule. The best effects build gradually.

How To Split + Cycle Tongkat Ali

    Split

It’s good to split the daily amount of Tongkat Ali into two doses. So for 600 milligrams a day, take 300 mg in the morning and 300 mg in the afternoon.

    + Splitting extends effectiveness.

    Cycle

Tongkat Ali supplements should be cycled. It's actually pretty easy to match the work week. So you take Tongkat Ali for 5 days in a row, then take a break and stop taking it for 2 days. Then start again and repeat the cycle: 5 days on, 2 days off for as long you need it.

+ Cycling mimics natural testosterone production.

    One more thing:

Elite athletes and bodybuilders may consider a longer cycle. We know bodybuilders who take 1200mg for 14 days, and then take 3 days off. They repeat this heavy cycle for up to 10 months sometimes, but then take a 2-month break to reset the body. This is pretty intense and not suggested for beginners.

So basically, there are many different cycle structures to try with Tongkat Ali. It kinda depends on what you want to get out of it.

But this can be used to your advantage...

If you have a hard time sticking to a regular cycle, then adopt a cycle that can fit in your schedule.

It’s OK to experiment with the amount and cycle.

You may notice that you feel great after taking just 300mg of Tongkat Ali each day. That’s great! Stick to it.

We recommend finding the lowest dosage you need to feel good and maintain a healthy testosterone balance.

We also heavily recommend you take a “resting period” to feel the full power every time.

Below are two charts to help you determine how much Tongkat Ali to take depending on your goals.

    Tongkat Ali Dosage Examples

This first chart is perfect for the person who may have declining testosterone levels and wants more energy, less stress, and better sex.

Tongkat Ali Dosage Schedule Chart Average

This second chart is for performance athletes and bodybuilders who already take Tongkat Ali. It is a 10-week cycle with a heavy front-loading period and a 2-week tapering exit from the cycle. After the 2-week taper, take 2-3 weeks off as a resting period.

Tongkat Ali dosage schedule for athletes bodybuilders Why these amounts?

Besides our own experience with Tongkat Ali and the feedback from the 100s, there are more than a few research studies to support these amounts. 1

    Here’s one:

In 2012, a randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, parallel group study included 109 men between 30 and 55 years of age. 2

Each guy took only 300 mg of Tongkat Ali root extract or a placebo every day for three months.

Besides losing some fat and gaining a better quality of life, the men showed:

    • 14% more libido
    • 44% more sperm motility
    • 18% more semen volume

A different research study gave people 200 milligrams of Tongkat Ali root extract to men everyday and found it helped lower cortisol and increase testosterone. 3

    Let’s be real:

There has not been enough human studies performed on Tongkat Ali, Longjack, or Eurycoma longifolia.

But it has been used for thousands of years and is growing in popularity because people are experiencing real results.

It makes you feel good. It makes you feel powerful. It helps you reach your most potential.

Well, high-quality Tongkat Ali does.... after you determine how much to take.

So how do you know how much Tongkat Ali to take?

    Answer:

Take just enough to enjoy the benefits and avoid the side effects.

    Speaking of side effects...

Mint: Spearmint, peppermint and others from the mint family may work to reduce testosterone in the body.

Licorice: Licorice contains glycyrrhizic acid, which can decrease total testosterone levels after just 4 days!

Soy: Soy has been proven to lower testosterone levels.

What To Expect From Tongkat Ali

    As we explained:

You might experience some very mild side effects when you start taking Tongkat Ali.

An upset stomach and increased body heat for 10-15 minutes is normal at first.

Stick with it. The long-term benefits can far outweigh these short-term side effects.

Don't expect huge results in the first week.

    You may feel:

Motivation: You may want to get active and get shit done the very first day.

More energy: This can be a strong first day feeling too, but make take 2-3 days to build up.

More horny: You may want more sex by the end of the first week. It may help you get harder erections and perform longer.

Deeper sleep: Deeper sleep can also kick in after 7 days. Although If it is too new, or too much, or too late in the day, you may not be able to sleep.

Less stressful feelings:This can take up to a month. Maybe it’s the lower cortisol, or the more testosterone, more sex, and more sleep.

After a month, you should have higher levels of testosterone flowing through your body. This can result in fat loss, muscle tone and a strong sex drive.
